In thirty-five years that we have had our home, this is the most satisfying and positive home renovation project we have ever had. From beginning to end, the staff of Boardwalk North was professional and exceptional in their service. They gave us the addition we were looking for and included things we did not think of. They took our basic ideas and filled in the details to make it all work.

Their workmanship was exceptional. So many people have come in and said it does not even look like an addition. The moldings inside and out match the originals. They found flooring to match our original non standard flooring. On the exterior, they even matched the second story skirt with the shingles. They took the time to do all the little things necessary to continue the lines of our 1912 house.

We were told from the beginning that we should not settle for something we didn’t want. When we were not pleased with the way the bathroom was coming out, Brian stopped and sat down with us and their designer and reworked the plan until we found the perfect arrangement. Whenever something did not seem quite right, the Boardwalk North staff found the solution to make it right.

The coordination of the plumbers, electricians, fireplace installers, inspectors, etc. was extremely efficient. Everyday Brian informed us about the status of the project. Any unexpected problem was promptly dealt with to make the project beautiful.

Throughout the entire project, Brian and Jim never left us with a mess. Every night they swept and vacuumed. Every morning they put down drop cloths and secured the rest of the house from dust and dirt. They even washed the windows in the addition before they left at the end of the project. The worksite was always kept neat and orderly.

We enjoyed working with both the onsite and central staffs of Boardwalk North. We love the finished project. It is the most impressive addition in our entire neighborhood. We hope to have Boardwalk North doing our next project, restoring the porch on the other side of the house.

“My wife and I were very happy with our recent experience with Boardwalk North, are happy we chose them, and enjoy the results of their work every day. We had a fairly large project consisting of a two-story addition and finished basement. Right from the start we knew Boardwalk North was a different kind of company. They were very direct, honest, knowledge-able and with great business practices that ended up delivering work that was of a higher quality than expected, at a good value and with huge peace-of-mind. The quality of the workmanship was excellent — I asked Ed Stewart to make everything to look as much like it came with the house originally as possible, and for the basement to NOT look like a basement. Everything turned out beautifully and enhances our home in so many ways, it sometimes is awe-inspiring. As for the value, I had priced work from several other vendors — most were in the ball-park or a bit lower, but were not “all-inclusive” like Boardwalk North’s pricing. In the end, I think we ended up with a much better value than we would have from the other vendors which brings me to peace-of-mind. That “all-inclusive”, up-front pricing meant there was no anxiety on our part about cost “surprises” — we could just have fun watching the project develop. We’re really happy with the company, we get wonderful comments about the work all the time, have referred several friends who also chose Boardwalk North, and would definitely choose them again in the future.”
